Mercedes Reynolds has held a real estate license for 13 years. During this time, she has specialized in representing Spanish-speakers in real estate transactions and in providing promotions and advertising for herself and others.

She has also managed escrows and transaction paperwork for other agents. Details, legal compliance, and tailoring real estate services to specific client needs have been her main emphasis.

Mercedes has extensive experience in budgeting and management. She has written and implemented grant projects, department budgets, and corporation finances. She has held positions in corporations including board member, secretary, director, publisher, and founder.

Mercedes has supported non-profit organizations in many ways. From volunteering in schools to helping set up living history days, from organizing relief for victims of natural disasters on the East Coast of the United States and in Mexico to writing newsletters and maintaining records and archives, she has reached out not only to her local community but to communities beyond.

She is also familiar with non-profit organizations from the inside, having held paid professional positions with several. She is well aware of the financial constraints and needs of non-profits.

Mercedes feels strongly about the positive role religious organizations play in the community. As editor/publisher of a general circulation local newspaper, she devised and donated an entire page each issue as a vehicle for each local church in turn to communicate its beliefs and feature its activities.

She also has an extensive background in education. She has taught in public, private, and alternative schools, held the position of principal school administrator, and run several federal education programs.

At Horizon Realty Services, Mercedes manages the HRS Fundraising Program and coordinates the locating of agents compatible with the needs of buyers and sellers.
